Should preppers invest in silver? Seems like a no-brainer to me. Silver, like gold, is a store of wealth. Pretty soon, the big bankers will lose their position on being able to manipulate the PM markets. When that happens, gold and silver (especially silver) will skyrocket. And don't forget about the amazing antibacterial qualities of silver. There is a reason that silver is considered a "precious" metal.
